Perfect Colours will bring a complete live print-and-finishing workflow to stand S400 at The Sign Show and The Print Show.
Rather than presenting individual machines in isolation, Perfect Colours will demonstrate how colour management, automated workflow, wide-format printing and finishing technology can work together as a connected production environment.
Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of the Platinum Technologies X-Line 3020, a Liyu flatbed UV printer with a 3.2m × 2.0m print bed; the HP Latex R530, an all-in-one latex printer designed for both rigid and roll-fed media; and the Canon Colorado M5W, featuring UVgel technology and white ink for roll-to-roll applications up to 1,625mm wide.
Other highlights include the Summa F1625 Vantage flatbed cutting system for boards, sheets and rigid media; the Fotoba XLA-170 automatic 1.7m cutting system; and PrintFactory RIP and workflow software, combining colour management with automated production processes.
Pre-prepared print-and-cut workflows will allow visitors to follow work from file preparation and colour management through printing, cutting and finishing. Bespoke demonstrations will also be available for businesses wishing to explore particular applications, materials or production challenges.
“The objective is to show visitors how the equipment can work together in a real production environment, rather than simply demonstrating one machine at a time,” said Duncan Baker, technical director at Perfect Colours.
“We want people to see a job move through the complete workflow, from file preparation and colour management through printing and automated finishing. This gives customers a much clearer understanding of where time can be saved, where consistency can be improved and how the technology could fit into their own business.”
Perfect Colours’ technical, engineering and sales teams will be available throughout the show to discuss applications, workflow improvements and suitable equipment configurations.
